{ Fresh Cottage Inspired Blue & Green Vintage Christmas }

Let me tell you guys a little secret of mine...I l o v e Christmas, but boy can it get busy especially blogging each room & putting together the full Holiday Home Tour! I'm currently sitting here at 3am typing this for Friday & ready to fall asleep, but another little secret..I LOVE MY JOB! I absolutely love being able to blog & share our current home with you all & give you ideas for the average home! Around Christmas I have like 60 hr work weeks hahaha..Lots of prep & time to get these posts out to you all! Today I'm sharing our large tree in our lower level!!! I went super out of the norm this year & decided I wanted to go with a Fresh Cottage Inspired Blue & Green Vintage Christmas!! I got the idea after spotting a blue & green plaid blanket from +Walmart  & then some blue & green holiday berry greenery from +Michaels Stores !! The look of the fresh, but vintage style Christmas had me dreaming up ideas or than the traditional white or red Christmas themes! I'm pretty pleased at how it turned out too..Keep in mind this is our lower level & the lighting isn't the greatest! So grab some hot cocoa & join me on this little mini tour!

I picked this garland up +HomeGoods  for under $15 & ended up making some ornaments out of them!

Our lower level was already a rustic /lodge theme so this Christmas "theme" was perfect! I love the fresh but vintage feel! The holly branches are from +Michaels Stores ! The moose art is from my crafty mom!

I just set this toolbox next the tree as I was moving our regular decor around & I fell in love with the rustic touch & the white chippy handle! I added some simple milk glass masons from @marshalls & some ribbon & instant charm for close to nothing!

See that green & plaid throw? That was actually my inspiration for this year's theme down here! The amazing artwork on the wall are complimentary of  my BFA sister!!!

These blue glass masons are pretty much my favorite! They're super old & paired so well with our other decor!

Those "NOEL" letters are from an antique store in Frankenmuth & they were a gift from my auntie! They were the finishing touches to the mantel after I searched high & low for them after I stored them away last Christmas!

What do you think of this year's Christmas theme in our lower level? I hope you all have a lovely Friday enjoying the beginning of December!!!

Wishing you all a wonderful Friday & weekend!!
