{ Chalk paint wall decor refresher! }

Over the weekend I picked up these little wall hangers from my father in law! He had them hanging & I spotted them & well...I HAD TO HAVE THEM!! If you know me you'd know that I love hydrangeas, roses & tulips sooo they pretty much were calling my name! Don't get me wrong I loved how they looked before with the muted neutral tones, but thought the green was a bit circa '97. With  a little fresh chalk paint & love they were completely refreshed  with a rustic spring punch!

I used the colors I had on hand & well, they were pretty perfect! These Americana Decor paints can be purchased +Michaels Stores for around $8!

I used a brown marker to "fossil" across the raised parts for that  rustic weathered appeal! I also lightly went over them with a copper brush to distress them a bit!

I love how bright & fresh they turned out, but still have that rustic garden feel. I'm still undecided where these will be going, but I'm thinking somewhere in the kitchen with our summer decor!!

 Side Note: I tried to find out where these were originally purchased or how old these were,but had no luck..I was just curious!

Just goes to show with a little bit of paint just about anything can be spruced up!! These are officially one of my favorite 30 minutes or less DIY projects I've completed!!

 Have a great rest of the week everyone!
