{ Classic Cozy Christmas Porch }

Eeek, SO  E X C I T E D to finish off the week & share today's post with you, my pals!!! It's one of, if not my most favorite place to photograph for Christmas..OUR FRONT PORCH!! It's so cozy, fresh & fun to work on!! Although my ears don't  like it these days { vertigo} I love being outside in the crisp winter air with the scent of fresh fire in the air while decorating!! I tend to like to put a big 7-8ft tree out here, although last year I did a New England theme HERE , this year I went back to our roots with a classic cozy porch with a huge tree, vintage ladder, red wood barn  & candle lit lanterns!!!! I love having porch lights on all through Christmas...It's so magical through the holidays to walk up or drive away with a festive cozy welcoming porch!!!!
• Come see the whole space below...

I kept things ultra traditional Christmas with only reds, greens & pops of silvery white! The tree is a 7.5ft traditional Noble Fir Christmas tree!! It's  huge, lit with both colored & white lights. It was a free find & I'm so happy we took it! We usually buy a real one for out front, because let's face it, nothing beats going to the Christmas tree lot!.. But this year we got busy & honestly a real tree is a lot of work!!

I kept the decor simple with silver bulbs , poinsettias,  and red berries! I wanted a fresh classic bold streamlined look! Cozy but cohesive & minimalist..well as minimal with still being comfy!!

I added the vintage warmed toned wood ladder last minute & it literally MADE this space, especially with the big red wood barn garage!! Stay tuned for something fun to do with this..♡

Keeping with what I said above, with a bold traditional cohesive look, I added a bucket filled with greens, white lanterns, red candles, a sign & voila!

This buck was the only new items used for our 2019 Christmas porch this year...Thanks to my mom!! Along with the vintage inspired bucket, I added a vintage wood chair to bring a bit of rustic antique charm + warmth..& hit coincides with our wood planked porch!

The wreath was a DIY : HERE

Simple, bold cottage classic porch. Christmas makes me so happy you guys..it's so warm, cozy & unlike many I actually like the style & abundance of decor it brings!!
• Do you decorate your porch?
