{ Fall Flower Porch }

 I honestly don't even know where to start this post! Today was h a r d! It would have been our 12th anniversary. I can't explain what happened in detail right now, but it's broken my heart into a million pieces. Lots of cleaning, organizing, removing & of course blogging! Although it was one of the most exhausting days both mentally & physically  I did get the yard & porch refreshed for fall here in the north! I went a little different in terms of colors, but also used the same sign in the post before! Keep reading below for the full look & deets...

My best friend & I re-layed the wood porch with fresh planks first! Second we added fresh dying stems from the garden! I can't name the plant because well I'm a ' green thumb' , but I love the vintage blush pink when they're dying off for fall.

The black sign, vintage blush pink stems, owl & black lanterns add that cool fall feel but also that touch of spooky from the owl & vintage inspired witch sign!

The brooms , black & hint of Halloween + fall work perfectly for this refreshed space!! The pumpkins will come off the chairs soon, because it's so relaxing to sit here on your cool Midwest autumn mornings..

I hope you loved this post. I enjoy sharing ideas that can be executed easily! This post cost nothing & I was able to use bits of nature..I'd say that's a win!!

HAPPY Monday!

{ A Neutral Fall Halloween Porch }

 Hey my pals!! Welcome back to TQS!! I can't believe I'm writing this, but it's Fall time again!!! I haven't been on in a few days because of personal matters going on, but you better believe I've been working super hard behind the scenes! I'll be doing a whole life update as soon as I gather all the words I'm ready to use & release the updates taking place! Today to get my mind off of health & life I decided to get back to business- my business & blog our neutral fall Halloween porch! Come see more below...

I wanted something neutral, but with a hint of vintage New England witch trial look! This vintage inspired sign was perfect paired with the rustic mini brooms & faux pumpkins!

The spooky appeal comes from the sign & brooms, yet instead of  kiddie looking it looks neutral & vintage with a hint of whimsical cohesiveness!

The lanterns & faux orange flame candles add to the ambiance...I may have been watching too much Hocus Pocus with the " black flame" candle at this point haha.

It looks so cute & still neutral enough to keep out front! A few items with the same color scheme & voila!! I just love this little cabinet at our front door for winter salting, packages & wet boots!

I hope you loved this neutral fall + Halloween look!! Do you decorate for both or just one?

HAPPY Thursday!

{ Neutral Primitive Fall Fireplace }

 Happy Thursday, pals!!  Yesterday I had an important dr appointment about starting some new medicine for my fibromyalgia.  I fell going down the stairs the night before & life in general is just busy + chaotic lately..One thing that will never stop is my blogging business. It's a passion & I love being able to style using our home as my palette practically. The cooler seasons are my favorite & fall is definitely a favorite!! Today I want to show you our neutral fall primitive fireplace!

Since 2021 has been the most stressful year thus far in my life, I needed cozy, neutral, simple spaces!! This upstairs living room is no exception!! I mentioned via Instagram that my assistant & best friend refreshed this space with a neutral rug, new coffee table & a primitive neutral cottage vibe.

I love all the neutral textures from jute to sisal to wicker! The neutrals all pull together nicely & added that added charm for cozy fall!!

This sign I just so happened to have, & I gathered some burlap mini pumpkins to bring in the fall but still maintain the calmness but still season appropriate.

Neutrals, layers, charm & fall goodness!

One of my favorite things to use in the fall months are dried tan stems. They scream farm, but add charm & warmth through the cooler months ahead!!

I hope you loved this simple fall look with many neutrals.  I love switching up my fall decor from classic to calm.

HAPPY Thursday!

{ Warm Dining Room Foliage Decor }

 I'm one of the people buying or scheming up ideas in August  for upcoming fall. Not only because I love the ambiance & cooler temps, but because I love sharing ideas with you & it's essentiallymy job here. This post is one that I didn't plan before but just kind of went with after doing an upstairs & lower level family room refresh! I had been lacking inspiration lately due to personal issues occurring.  Feels amazing to be back working + creating!! Everything in today's post I had on hand from other photoshoots / seasons!! I love being able to share looks that  are new looking but from past projects/ work. Come see this warm fall foliage look down below....

I'm going to let you in on why I used check accents... This wasn't pre-planned or thought out intentionally, but sure did work out nicely!
The cream grommet curtains were in horrible shape, so I put up the newest thickest ones I had on hand..I just so happened to have a matching throw!!

One of my favorite things together in terms of color pallet theme etc.. are black, wood & brass paired together! It's cozy, crisp & a pinch vintage/ modern. Seeing how I already have brass hardware, it definitely was a must!

With everything going on I've been wanting to make our home warmer, and fall is the perfect time! The warm burnt orange foliage is from Target { last year }.

A few minimal white gourd pumpkins, lots of raw wood & warm leaves & stems!!

The boldness of the black, cozy of the wood & pop of the red barn garage & warmth of the foliage bring everything together!

The dishes are authentic vintage finds..some dating back to 1930s from barn & picking sales ! I added 3 layers with the ramekins last for texture { added last minute}.

I hope you like this fall post! It's warm, smells like apple { thanks @etsy } & inviting for the cooler months ahead!

HAPPY Tuesday!
