Heyyy all! Today's post is one of those " Why didn't I post this sooner" type of posts! So it's no secret that I change out our decor like our weather changes here in Michigan...One of the spots I change out the most is our upper level farmhouse style living room fireplace! It's one of the main focal points of the room & there's just something about a cozy chippy white fireplace in the winter & even in the summer sometimes minus the heat ha! Anyways I always struggle with what to add to the sides of our fireplace to add height & fill the dead space on each side! Along the way I have found some simple ways to fill those spots with items like crocks, topiaries, chippy stools, baskets, candlesticks etc.. I put together a list of items that you could easily use next to the fireplace for that cozy cottagey/farmhouse appeal! Come see the items I picked!!
I love those grey cabinets..I mean how cute & styled with some vintage books?! Pretty obsessed with those tan wicker vases too..especially for spring with some fresh greens!!! What's your favorite?
What do you guys think about these picks for next to the fireplace? I think in our home I've used the tall candlesticks, large plants, lanterns, baskets & maybe it's time I picked up some pretty vases...maybe glass for spring? Stay tuned!!
Happy Wednesday!

inspiring in someway :).
