{ Dining Room Christmas Tree }

 Happy late Monday pals!! Wow, I can't believe Thanksgiving is here already...like I really can't this year! Fastest, hardest year thus far in my 34 years! With that being said, I apologize for being a tad behind in the number of Christmas inspiration posts going out!! Today is a day I AM sharing & I'm so excited about that! One thing I always loved ever since a kid was a dining room that had a fireplace & or a Christmas tree in it! Well, no fireplace yet but definitely a Christmas tree. Come see this comfy textured Christmas nook below.....

With the exception of the amazing unique ornaments, from a gift shop everything was house shopped!! I wanted a muted, but bold textured look.. lot's of baskets & vintage pottery mixed in!

The wood ornaments are more modern cottage but the huge bubble square glass ornaments are from a gift shop via my mom♡!

I'm still not sure what I'm doing as a centerpiece/ focal point but for now some snowball candles, chunky candlesticks & neutral linens.

I added tons of decor textured items, basket for the tree, hanging storage baskets, vintage hamper etc..

It's quite magical in here...

I hope you gathered some inspiration from this Christmas cottage dining nook!! Something about a tree always adds magic to a space!

{ Cute Quaint Christmas Porch }

 Today was supposed to be a work day...Unfortunately I knew a few days ago I was heading for a fibromyalgia flare up...Not fun & very debilitating.  I did decide to get some blog work done while nestled in my pjs sipping camomile tea! I shot these a few days ago while enjoying the fresh winter air...Come see my 2021 holiday porch below!

I went super simple out here...well simple in Paige's world ha! Little cozy porch decor for a little snowy cottage! The snow finally melted here & things were dry & ready to be styled...I only lasted 25 minutes out there in the winds though!

This space was inspired by the few new goods I picked out at Target a couple weeks back!! The mini Christmas cottage homes, sign & throw! Everything else was from a former photoshoot!

I will never tire of Christmas or winter decor! I also love the vintage white picket fence we installed this summer peeking from the garage!!

I hope you guys liked this little snowy cottage porch!! It's one of  my most favorite areas to bring inspiration too & hopefully this gave you some ideas!

HAPPY Tuesday!

{ Neutral Christmas Dining Elements }

 I'm sitting here watching Christmas movies, cinnamon candle going & Christmas lights sparkling....Today was the first snowfall here in Michigan, so I had to photograph some Christmas elements in the dining room for you { since I couldn't work outside}! This space wasn't fully decorated, staged, cleaned or photographed today, but this year is all about imperfect spaces!!! Come see some bold neutral sneak peeks below....

This is just a quick look book, but I couldn't help but share...Why? Because it's so simple, yet so comfy & magical!!

These ornaments were a going inspiration for this space!! My mom picked me up 8 of them & they gave this tree some bold neutral jazz!!! Glass & huge & look vintage....yes please!!

Some of the main Christmas elements added to this space thus far would be the snowball candles, Christmas pillow, flocked tree & wreath!! See, not that much to bring this space together...I'll be back soon to show more details & a full post!!

I still need some winter greens & a few items here but for now a simple mini flocked tree in the window!

Do you decorate your dining room with a Christmas tree? I love the whimsical lights after a long day...Stay tuned for the full post soon!!

HAPPY Monday!

{ Historic Vintage Christmas Sitting Room }

 Ahhhh my most favorite time of the year!! November & December are indeed my favorite, even if they are the most chaotic too  usually  ha! I finally was able to finish our 2021 Christmas decor { for the most part }. I tried something new this year... I stepped entirely out of my comfort zone & used lots of vintage inspired colors, warmth & TONS of brass goods!! I have to be honest, I had no idea going into this year's holiday season what I was going to do throughout the house. Typically I do neutral in the living room & colorful in the family room. This year I had zero ideas..BUT it's definitely my most favorite in the almost 10 years I've been blogging I promise! Come see the year's upstairs sitting room below.....

I can't tell you how warm & almost enchanting this upstairs sitting room is this season! It's warm like a great big hug & so magical!! Lots of brass, vintage chipped blue, flocked, vintage ticking stripe , greys & aged reds!

I love history & wanted to recreate a vintage tree with lots of warm character! The gold & teal mercury bulbs, wood & white glowing lights finish this tree!! The cabinet I wanted to be super warm & filled with textured antique goods! Baskets, antique wood pipes, lanterns & a tin joy sign!

The pillows coordinated well with the tree bulbs & pops of reds add that holiday ambiance with classic red bows!

These vintage burlap & cotton sock  stockings add that touch of antique, whimsical & historic look! For Stewart, Swartz & Sugar { our three rescues }.

The chalkboards were previously here,
I just took & brushed the frame borders with brass paint!!

Mixed in lots of beads, bells & old vintage/ historic elements for layers of coziness!!!

I've loved this chocolate tin for years, my gram finally gifted it & I just added some extra bulbs from the tree & beads to the brass candlesticks & wicker tray!

The vintage houses from the pillow below were the big inspiration!! So these woods houses were a must on the mantel!!

I hope you were inspired in any way possible by this oh so warm & comfy Christmas sitting room!

HAPPY Tuesday!

{ First Glimpse at Christmas }

 NOVEMBERRR! You guys know what that means...CHRISTMAS EVERYTHING! I live for the holidays & once November/ December hit I'm Mrs Clause haha! I went simple,⁷ but with a look I haven't showcased here on the blog ever, at least not that I know of in 9 years! Anyways  come see a comfy homey upstairs decorated partially for Christmas!! More to come......

I wanted to go very old time vintage with a retro flare with lots of brass, color & a touch of mercury glass blue... The pillow was the main inspiration!! Old- time snowy Breckenridge country town!

Vintage brass chalkboards, antique inspired sign, lots of beads & chipped classic ornaments & it's cozy white fireplace perfection!! The black table has the same wood & stain as the coffee table { that I've never shared yet }!! Both pieces are over 50 years old & from Canada!!

I hope you loved this sneak peek a this year's  2021 Christmas home! What theme are you implementing in your home this year?

HAPPY Wednesday!
