{ 2017 Fall Farmhouse Home Tour }

I know I'm a bit late on getting this Fall Home Tour out, but we have been so busy with personal family stuff, getting everything ready for our vacation to New York & just switching out seasonal stuff inside & out!! I didn't want to pass this Home Tour bye though because I loveee fall, even though ours here in Michigan wasn't so great with the weather!! I will admit since the weather wasn't great for fall this year I got bored of fall decor quite quickly & let's be honest I can only take pumpkins for sooo long hahaha! I'm currently sitting in the office typing this listening to classical Christmas music & may be sipping cocoa haahahah. It feels like the beginning of winter & before it goes any farther, I HAD to post the ending of fall..Come take a peek below & pin for next season too :)!

P.S. I'm just highlighting posts..Links for full posts provided or search the blog nav bar.

{ DIY Fall Farmhouse Style Cabinet Spruce Up! }

Hey guys!! I hope your weekend was awesome, ours was busy but Saturday night I got everything mostly done & decided to wash/ straighten my hair { bahah long hair probs } & meet a friend out at Ikea & Kirklands...T R O U B L E hahaha..I found sooo many cute Christmas goodies even though I have yet to find my themes for the family & living room..eek! So while I was out browsing I decided to finish off the fall decor before I jump into Christmas before vacay with a simple cabinet spruce up! Sunday's are usually always busy for us, and today was no different!! Mark was out the door working on a job site, so I woke up threw on some yogo pants top knotted my hair & headed out to our "treasure pile" & picked some metal chicken wire like grate out...I've been wanting to add something for height to this cabinet for awhile, but didn't know what?! I also wanted to add something to the left side of it since it's kind of bare & it was bugging me...You guys know how I just randomly grab things & if they work then great & if not well...I'll try something else!! This I just so happened to LOVE, it was a thrifty free find & it screams fall!
Come see the last bit of fall & this easy DIY spruce up below!!!

" You Can Have it All

*All Sources Below.

So, you guys know I like to do things as simple as possible..This side of the cabinet isn't staged or used much other than for decor storage etc.. I simple just hung the grate on the inside of the door with two little nails in the wood.. I love how it gives it character & hides the "ugly" part haaha

This stool is one of those pieces with meaning to me..It's vintage & was my papa's..I can still see him on it in the garage way back when...Some of my most best memories as a kid are at my grandparents' houses. My cozy safe place!!

I added the white mason jars last minute & it really completed the space!! See our fall bedroom HERE with them!

You can see this full cabinet makeover for under $20 HERE

What do you guys think about this space?? This is one of those MOST random projects that I LOVE thee most..funny how things you don't plan turn out the best right?! I think I need to adopt that more into our busy lives..

{ Vintage Cottage Style Gallery Wall Pt. 2 }

Happy almost Wednesday..I hope you all are having a better week than I am. I truly mean that! It's been one thing after another lately & I'm at my breaking point { I'll share more if I can, since it's personal family stuff }..After being in bed trying to sleep I decided to hop out & finish this little wall that has been bugging me for quite a few months & quite frankly it was bare bare bareee haha! I finally broke down & decided to do a gallery wall. You can see the beginning HERE!! I knew as soon as I published that post that I needed to add a few things..It's a super long entry wall & I want it to feel cozy..if that's a thing haha. Anyways I've been collecting a bunch of basically junk for quite sometime & decided to put some of it to use like the vintage keys, leather tag, antique stopwatch & sooo on! Come see part two of this gallery wall below..

BAHAHA I had to post this one of the creeper creeping on his momma haha! He does this to me ALL over our house..It's an ongoing joke around here these days ha! Hiii, Stewy!!

As you can see I have the leather tag in some photos & others not..I was debated on what to put there & had that huge tag, so it may go back in the upper left corner..I also have some vintage North & South / East & West signs I want to hang, but I ran out of 3M today ha. I did use nails for a lot of this stuff, but this poor wall is soo beat up I tried using 3M more today..eek!

I love collecting things like this vintage match dispenser, keys, locks etc..I really had no clue to what I was going to do with this wall, but after I gathered the items it surprisingly came together quite well! I'm SUPER excited to add Christmas items to this space & change out the wreath!

Side Note: I'm thinking about painting this whole entrance area & freshening up the door. I think I'm soo ready to ditch the blue/grey & keep the black door?? Stay tuned haha.. you guys know how random I am!!

What do you guys think about this gallery wall thus far?? I may add more or just wait a few weeks & start adding Christmas touches!!

{ Rustic Cottage Style Fall Entryway Decor }

Hey guys!! So before I get into today's post I want to let you all know it's going to be a long one..Not the actual post but a little back story as to what's been going on with me & why my content has been so spaced from my usual full time blogging..So if you follow my social media outlets { right side bar Icons } then you would know on Friday morning I was in the hospital...I woke up at 4am & couldn't even sit down to use the restroom { sorry TMI } or even put on pj pants..My back has been bad as long as I can remember & lately from moving furniture/DIY & just life, my back has been really bad..I have been putting off the doctors because to be honest I have a few things going on with me! One of those things are also having minor kidney issues { I produce stones etc..} & I wanted to make sure that this horrid pain was just my back & not my kidneys which are my first concern..So my lovely gram went with me & I had my kidneys xrayed & ultrasound, and they're in great working condition!!! I also had my back xrayed & I do have some issues going on..My T10 & 11 are spaced & bridged & I have an extra bone between one of them..I also had to stay a little longer because my BP was so high they had 3 nurses trying to get it down & cuffs on both arms..which can mean kidney issues etc..Thank gosh it came down a little & I was discharged. Why am I babbling about all of this? Because this is one of the reasons I haven't been blogging full-time..I literally couldn't sit for long periods of time to type or even photograph spaces turning & doing regular everyday motions were killing me..The medicine seems to be working I woke up Saturday morning & got out of med normally & without any spasms- YAY!!!  I felt soo good that I went out to a girlfriends house with my sister & had a few drinks!! Today { Sunday } I got to sleep in & then worked my butt off in the house cleaning, laundry & I even styled & re-did a space I'll be sharing soon { SEE MY INSTAGRAM FOR DIRECT UPDATES }! Today I'm sharing our fall front entryway!! I've been meaning to blog this space for a bit, but honestly it's a super awkward space to photograph, so I was putting it off. Today was a super cold & windy dark fall day, so the lighting isn't the best, but I'm sharing anyway...I hope you love it!!!

While I'm getting everything out haha I am also sharing this space because I bought this sign from HomeGoods a few weeks back for $10 & wanted to style it somewhere!! I also wanted to share a bit more fall because to be honest I'm getting bored & I will be bringing Christmas out in our lower level soon...We're going to NYC in two weeks & I'm going to refresh the house & deep clean/ bring Christmas out so when we return { first week of November } some Christmas will be out. I know Nov. 1st is sooo soon to many of you, but I love to enjoy a solid 2 months of Christmas & I have deadlines for the blog to meet.

I tried adding some color,but I just didn't love it!! I always do neutral inside & color outside...I have to have colorful pumpkins outside haha. See our front porch decor HERE

I did leave a bit of color with this little sign from Tuesday Morning!!

I'm one of those people who have to have consistency throughout my home & that's one reason why I didn't want orange in the entryway..I love how it looks now because it coordinates with the other wall..You'll want to see that post because it got a big change tonight & I'll be sharing soon...see the start of it HERE

Side Note: That door has faded soo much..eek !! Fresh new black paint or something soon haha

What do you think about this cozy little entryway?? It's not the biggest, but it's super cute & functional for us for the most part!! Let me know down below what you think & what color I should paint the front door??

{ Cottage Style Fall DIY Entryway Gallery Wall }

Hey guys & happy Friday!!! Sorry I've been a little MIA again but I have a lot going on in my personal life that hopefully I can share in the near future. I stopped in at HomeGoods the other day for some retail therapy & picked up a super unique looking fall wreath & a cute clearance "welcome sign". Two things I've been looking for quite sometime now, but just hadn't found the right fit!! Our entryway was looking a little drab these last few months with nothing on the main wall when you first walk-in & step up into the living room or kitchen & well today it finally looks a little better & hopefully after some paint soon it'll look even better..Although truth be told, I don't hate the blue/grey color it is now... I've also have never been one to really like gallery walls, but today I'm sharing my take on them!!!Come see this DIY Welcome Gallery Wall below!

This wreath was under $20 & I loved the unique branch & wheat look it had..It was between this one & a cotton wreath, but you guys know me, and with the cotton wreaths being so popular I had to pass on it. When I bought this wreath I really didn't know where it was essentially going, but now I'm glad I bought it for sure!!

The welcome sign I snagged right up, because I've been looking for something for this little space like this, but I wanted it to be neutral, smaller & well a bit different. I spotted this one for only $10..SCORE!

This space is horrible to photograph because it's smaller & a two sided entryway { I'll be blogging the other side soon } See my Instagram for a HUGE sneak peek!!

After I hung the wreath it was still a bit bare with that & the sign, so I went out to my stockpile & grabbed these old gold vintage frames & stripped the insides..Washed them up & hung them..still a bit bare so I added the little burlap & bronzed trinkets from Target.

What do you think about this fall entryway?? I know this was a super short post & not the greatest photography, but I'll be back soon with a bunch of new content. Thanks for being patient with me while my family & I navigate through some health problems. Let me know below what you think about this post..
