{ DIY Small Cottage Style Spa Bathroom }

We've all been there before..come home from a long day at work & just want a clean, quaint & simple area to relax & de-stress- right!? Well sit back & keep reading for simple ways to add that cute little cottage spa like retreat to your bathroom whether it's large or small this  post is for both!

I love adding  simple rustic cottage accents to any space. The bathroom is no exception so I added some cute mason jars { I made } & a cute tin/ plant from from +IKEA USA  !

Loving the stacked & rustic look!!  This DIY  cost close to nothing & they make super cute toothbrush/floss holders !!

I didn't even realize when we picked up this shower curtain for $10 +IKEA USA  that it matched our ribbon tied wash-clothes!! I guess you would say I'm a bit obsessed with this check print right now especially for spring !!

I'm still obsessed with those rustic wall plates from @ Marshalls  too! They add the perfect rustic chic spring cottage feel !

The most important part of any cozy bathroom is the tub!! I'm not one for taking baths , but my husband loves to soak after a long day of work or dealing with me  heheh! I picked up this cute little white plastic organizer from +Target  for $1 & packed it with a few essential bath goodies! Although my bathroom is newly renovated & has fresh Travertine tile, newer tub, paint etc.. the tub/shower area is lacking in the shelf department. This little caddy of goods comes in handy when my husband uses my bathroom! I filled it with vanilla sugar scrub, loofah, coconut body wash, foot scrubber & bar soap! I added the fresh thyme & sprig candle for that at home spa feel on the cheap !!

My husband hates being cold so I added a thick white robe for him to grab after bathing !

Keeping some essential items behind the toilet for easy access in a small bathroom is a must. I keep some foaming bath, brush, lotion, toilet paper etc..If you have guest over it's nice to have things in the open for them to quickly use { or your needy husband heheh SHHH! }

I surely hope this helps you create a cozy, refreshing & springy bathroom ! Who needs a spa day when you can relax in your own bathroom with a few simple DIY tips ;) !

Thanks for stopping in guys!

{ Neutral Easter Mantel!! }

 Today I'm sharing some inspiring neutral Easter decor / ideas for any home! I stayed more with neutrals for our living room mantel ,just because sticking carrots & orange/ green accents felt more appropriate in the kitchen ---> Rustic Kitchen Easter Hutch! :) !

I wanted to keep it simple , country/cottage & somewhat neutral & natural while decorating for this Easter! I know Easter is all about the cute bright pastels, but I'm just not into that type of decor  splattered in our main living room!! I love how this mantel turned out & for close to nothing ;) !

The framed polka dot bunny was a DIY -->  DIY Polka Dot Bunny . The large white Styrofoam bunny is from +Target  , the jam jar is a free find, as well as the large copper basket & slice of wood!

One of my favorite pieces is the copper basket { garbage find }. It was in pretty rough shape when my hubby found it, so I used a vinegar/ salt mix to shine her up!!

The Easter banner was a semi DIY! I picked up some little cut  triangles with gold glitter  & wrote Easter on them & strung them together with some blue thin ribbon ! :)

I love how simple the bunny , hydrangea, jam jar & creamy vanilla candle look with the silver frame & wood candle holder !!

Have a great week & happy Easter decorating !!
