So I'm doing something here on TQS that is usually frowned upon in the blogging world...I'm showing you nighttime pictures!!! I mean when am I ever doing what the "crowd" is doing anyway hahaa..I thought since nighttime is when you get the most cozy feel during the holidays that I would show exactly what our little suburban cottage looks like all lit up for Christmas!!! I haven't photographed all our rooms that I plan on sharing on the blog just yet, but I'm giving you all a little sneak peek & hopefully inspiration!! I have 4 more spaces to photograph, but I'm trying to space them out a bit..Although I don't know how much longer I can wait..#christmascrazy!!! Once I finish photographing all the spaces I'll be sharing for Christmas, I'll post the full 2016 Christmas Home Tour! Until then, come see some spaces all warm & cozy with lots of lights for the season!
This little corner in our dining room is probably my most favorite other than our lower level with our large tree! Something about this corner with the vintage pantry next to it, vintage tree in a barrel & this sign all lit up has me loving it! I literally just added this sign & these dollar plates & strung some garland to decorate this space..I love the neutral vintage charm look going on!
This little 4ft tree from +HomeGoods that I sat in a vintage barrel helps complete this spot!
Simple, cozy & rustic! The "gather" sign was a diy here: DIY GATHER SIGN
The barrel, leather jingle-bell strap & stool are all free vintage finds! The farmhouse style pantry was a diy here:DIY FARMHOUSE PANTRY as well as the "general store" sign here: DIY GENERAL STORE SIGN
This vintage barn door adds so much charm to our home! I'm so excited we got to decorate it this year!! See how we made a divider out of it here:DIY BARN DOOR DIVIDER
You can see this whole cozy Christmas dining room here: COZY FARMHOUSE CHRISTMAS DINING ROOM
I hope you guys liked this kind of "different" post! I love the nighttime look & how cozy some simple white Christmas lights can make any room feel! I'm curious, do you use simple white lights or colored in your Christmas decor? We always used colored as a child, so I think that's why I prefer plain white now! Let me know in the comment section below:) !
Wishing you all a lovely Monday!
