{ Charming Cottage Style Easter Mantel }

Happy Friday from our little suburban cottage!! I can't believe it's already March..I mean that's just crazy & the crazier part? It's stillllllll snowing in the mitten as I speak eeeek! So If you've noticed my regular blogging/posting schedule has been a bit off..Ya, I had a touch of food poisoning yesterday & fell asleep at 7:30..If you're close to me, you know  that is NOT NORMAL for me hahaha. I'm feeling a bit better, but can't shake these sinuses either ugh! Anyways I'm back today to share our Easter mantel that I happen to just LOVE! It's one of those areas in our home that is constantly changing & this probably is my favorite little mantel decor in a while..I wanted to keep it neutral;, charming, festive & of course throw some cottage goodness in the mix. Everything I used I had in my decor room with the exception of 3 items. Come take a peek at this cute little festive mantel...

I wanted to keep it simple & clean, yet cute because Easter is all about those cute buns right?! :)  The enamel dish was a free find, the lantern is from +Big Lots  & the chalkboard sign is from +Michaels Stores
Something random I thought I'd share.. So I put this whole mantel together at 2am..I swear when my husband is on these longggg shifts I do my best work..Not because he's gone, but because it keeps my mind going from missing him a lot, I love decorating our home,it's fresh for him when he gets home & I'm just a straight night owl hahah.

This little fireplace has seen better days, but I just love how quaint & cute it is..She may be little, but can put the heat out hehe ..which is needed on these Michigan nights!!!

I spotted these plants at +IKEA USA  about a month ago on a little haul, but couldn't bring myself to pay over $30 a piece . I waited & they went on sale for under $19..The wood slices were free & added that rustic charm I crave in our little suburban cottage.. The baskets are from Aldi grocery stores..2 for $10!!!

I'm bunny obsessed { Follow me via Instagram-->TheQuaintSanctuary } for instant updates & pictures of our adopted bun ha! Anyways I loved this little banner from +Target  for $3 & it was perfect for the mantel!

I really hope you guys liked this mantel. It's so simple, yet festive. I'll be back soon with a new piece from the shop I CAN'T WAIT to blog..It's huge, speaks to me & there's a crazy meaning/ story kinda behind it..Stay tuned!

Thanks again for stopping by my little blog, I hope you find it practical & simple like me :) :) :).
