{ Traditional Autumn Front Porch }

Another week here on TQS! Happy Monday pals!! We enjoyed the weekend with absolutely nothing big going on but lot's of doggy snugs, fall food goodies & naps! A few days ago before an appointment I styled this little porch of ours with some neutral traditional colonial goods with a few simple fall touches!! In all honesty  it's the most simple fall porch I've blogged in years! I was going to revise it, but then actually liked what I had...SIMPLE! Come see more & read how I achieved this look in 5 steps...

• 5 elements for this fall porch!

1. Wood
2. Pumpkins
3. Dried foliage
4. Seating
5. Minimal decor

The bench was a dream piece!! I've always wanted a chippy black traditional colonial wood bench!! I love the style, size & design..Although, I have to admit it wasn't my thrifty score, but my grams' actually!!

I didn't want any bold colors taking away from the piece, so I used faux dried foliage & a bunch of white pumpkins in vintage weathered crates!!

Everything pairs nicely with the traditional paned windows/ door & bold authentic cottage brick.  The planked wood floor adds judt enough warmth for that cozy fall feel.

I love when these grasses  turn into long "wheat like" stems blowing..Perfect for fall & bonus the chunky wheat stem wreath paired nicely!

Thanks for joining me on today's posts! Do you decorate for fall on your porch or stoop? I'm curious if you do, do you use real or faux pumpkins/ neutral or colored? Let me know in the comments!

HAPPY Sunday!

As always THANK YOU for stopping in on my little growing blog. I know everyone says it, but I honestly appreciate each of you for sharing my posts, commenting etc....I'm not the biggest or most popular blogger, but I am humble, real & practical and  hopefully helpful or inspiring in someway :).
