{ Thrifty Cottage Style Garden Greenhouse Centerpiece! }

Heyyy pals & welcome back to the blog!! Me blogging on Saturday...yup it's true haha! I wanted to pop on here & quickly share our summer greenhouse garden centerpiece for you guys! I'm not hosting Mother's Day, but if you are this would be the most simplest centerpiece EVER & super festive + fresh! I got the inspiration from my grams where I got these huge vintage terracotta pots & our yard actually...even though it's still not done I wanted to bring the outdoors in, but in typical " Paige" style...You guys have heard me talk about this many of times before but I'm not a green thumb so I use mostly faux greenery with the exception of a few...I had this industrial two tray stand from Target & decided to fill it with greenery, pots & add come vintage junkin' finds the side of it on the dining room table. See I told you literally the easiest centerpiece ever!! You could use any stand you want or have, grab some Dollar Store terracotta pots, flowers & greenery & voila complete!!! Come see more below...

So, while I was at my grams picking in her potting shed, I also got that little orange stool that desperately needs to be painted..I'll be sharing that soon too. Loving how this little dining area of ours in coming into what I had planned for this summer. I was going to switch out that 1940's chandy we got from a 1930's B &B but I see how popular it is now as I've seen many of you implement it in your homes..which makes me so thrilled!!

Our dining room gets so much light & breeze through it..I can't wait to show you the new cottage doors once they're installed. I love this one in the back because it's over 40 years old, but unfortunately it just doesn't work for what we need anymore. I will be sharing the transformation soon!!

I've been meaning to ask this question for quite sometime now..so since we're white washing the whole upstairs..do you think we should paint the barn door or leave as is??? Let me know in the comments for via my social media outlets!!

I always get nervous to share photos of myself via the blog because I have facial scars from a serious dog bite when I was 2 yrs old & 3 surgeries. My new go-to motto these days is " who cares" be yourself & share share shareeee! I love sharing my process with you guys & most of the time I'm not made-up but in a long braid, tank & baseball cap.SIMPLE ME.

I hope you guys liked this simple cottage garden tablescape. It's perfect for Mother's Day. Speaking of which, I don't really talk about much because it's a sad but happy day for us. Happy because we celebrate my mom who is so strong & helpful, but sad because of the tragic loss of Mark's mom when we was just 12. We celebrate her everyday, but it doesn't get easier. I also want to wish everyone who is trying to become, is or was a mom & that includes dog mommas too. Although we don't want kids, that doesn't stop my heart from feeling for those who do or have lost one.

Happiest weekend, pals!

{ Cozy Spring Garden Cottage Porch Setup }

Oh Monday you've been a sleepy one already...HEY, pals!!!!! Welcome back to TQS & happy Monday!!! As you can see today's post is s bit late getting out & that's because Sunday we were up late in the yard having a cozy bonfire after some spring exterior cleaning/planning..We brought some fresh strawberries out & enjoyed a huge bonfire with the pups, pretty perfect ending to the weekend!! While we were sprucing up the yard with new mulch, edgers { I can't wait to blog these } & just upkeep I managed to sneak away for a minute & throw some cute stuff together on the front porch..I wanted  rustic, chippy ticking stripe goodness with lots of  garden style mixed in. Our porch isn't huge but it's enough for a bench, table & decor, so it's perfect. Come see this quick little spruce up with one of my most favorite things from junkin' to date..

I moved this white bench from our back patio up to the front. I love the chippy weathered look about it & it's super comfortable plus from my gram. The green chippy table was a free find & was inside, but I thought it looked great out here paired with the crisp white & blue / green accents!

This little spot is so perfect for ice cold lemonade stops after working in the yard, yes we actually use this spot. I can't wait to play around with this spot more for 4th of July { my fav } & so on...Still debating if I should paint these planks white??? Leave me a comment below with your opinion.

 Okay, FINALLY my favorite piece I added out here- THIS WOOD ANGEL! If you've been following me for a while you would know I'm obsessed with angels & higher powers..I have this thing with angels even though I'm not religious, I love them & they soothe me. I like to think of this angel as Mark's mom watching over us { she passed tragically when he was 12 }. I spotted this garden mount at a junkin shop a few years ago & I knew I HAD to have it. It has been all over our home but I LOVE it out front. It makes a nice statement too & it;s chippy white..check check!

What do you guys think about this cozy little spot? So simple & quaint, but oozes with charm & personality right?! I hope you love this little spot just as much as we do. The angel completes this spot sooo much!

Happy Monday!

{ Cozy Spring Upper Living room & Fireplace Refresh }

Hey pals!!! Today's post has been one I've been talking about for the past few weeks, actually since before our little Florida spring break road trip..I'll be blogging that soon too..eek I feel so behind ha. Anyways today I'm sharing some cozy spring refreshed around the house since it finally feels like spring & today even summer..I mentioned via my Instagram HERE that I have been down physically which intern messes with my mental state at times.. But then the Saturday night decor bug hit & I got super inspired & added just about every hydrangea I had in our little cottage hahaha..seriously! I wanted to share some of the charming & thrifty ways I added spring on a whim at 10pm! I swear refreshing spaces & feeling inspired to make everything beautiful around you truly makes you feel like a million bucks! Okay, I'm doing it again..blabbing, come see some spring goodness around our upper living room below...

I just blogged about this fun DIY  HERE . If you haven't had a chance to see it, I hope you will!! I love this little thrifty basket..charm & flowers- need I say more?!

I want it to feel so bright & colorful & by that I mean flower colors..I can't get too crazy with the colors, but the cozy bright greenhouse flowers splashed everywhere is nice to wake up to! I added tons of hydrangeas, moved that huge HomeGoods canvas painting to the living room wall from my office & I LOVE IT! It adds so much warmth & height to the room,and it's hydrangeas in a vintage wood frame..YES PLEASE!

I kept the mantel pretty simple with carrying the bright greenhouse theme with some simple terracotta pots, greenery & the vintage watering-can. I've used this watering-can on our mantel before for fall, but couldn't resist.... chippy, thrifty, vintage antiques are my jam haha!

To tie in the fireplace mantel I added some terracotta pots around the living room with some mini succulents & then added the galvanized buckets to tie in with the watering-can via the mantel!

What do you guys think about our spring living room & fireplace refresh? I'm a tad bit obsessed with how it turned out!! Though we don't have a huge home, I feel blessed to have it..As I was just writing that last part I hope you guys will say a happy thought for us as we look at another potential new home on Thursday! I will always love this one so much though...cherishing it! What was your favorite part?

Happy Wednesday!

{ DIY Spring Cottage Mailbox Basket Front Door Decor }

HAPPY Tuesday, pals!!!! Eeeek I'm so excited to be back in my office creating, writing, designing, blogging & everything HOME!! I want to apologize for my week long break as I wasn't intending it to be that much of a gap in posts...I haven't been feeling well physically & that puts my mind in a different place, so I'm so sorry. I tend not to follow the masses or be a people pleaser nor keep up with Jones' but sometimes running a business can be hard, especially when you put yourself out there like blogging etc.. Anyways today I'm refreshed & ready to post about something I'm super passionate about but have only shared a few times in the past few months..DIY!!!! So, I was at HomeGoods the other day shopping for a client & spotted this post mailbox {post} basket on sale for under $10..umm coming home with me was a MUST ha! I brought it home & knew exactly what I wanted to do with it as our front door is in a state of disaster...more on that soon! I grabbed some simple leftover supplies I had in my office & got to work. In less than 10 minutes I had new charming door decor! Come see how I did it below...

S U P P L I E S  +  H O W  T O:

  • Greenery or Flowers of any kind you like.
  • Burlap or fabric for inside the basket. { I used an old farmhouse pillow cover }
  • Nail, 3M or String to attach to the door. I used a piece of string & pieced it threw the basket & tied to door knocker.

ENJOY!

So the basket did come with two hooks on the back { See above photo }, but I didn't want to use two nails that spaced apart on my door. This is why I used the above method instead. You can do whichever is better for you!

Inspiration comes from all over for me & this little tiny coffee cup filled with creamy vanilla cappuccino was my inspiration for the type of flowers & greenery I used! I wanted something fresh but dusty cozy vintage looking...I used lavender sprigs, & some other lightly colored green branches ..sorry I'm horrible at flower names!

Side Note: If you know the names of any of these flowers leave them in the comments! FYI flowers are faux.

This door will be getting a quick makeover once we add something new...hint ha! Until then, I'm loving this spruced up simple door decor & this basket, well it has my heart..How ADORABLE & thrifty..check check! I hope you love this tiny little #DIY. If you happen to make one or something like it tag me on my social media outlets { top right of blog }!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALWAYS ENCOURAGING ME PALS!

{ Cottage Style Spring Garden Inspired Side Table Decor Inspiration }

Happy weekend guys!!! I'm so excited to be posting this for you...I'm so sorry it's  a bit late getting out, as you already know I usually don't post during the weekends, but I had to get this out to you since it's finally starting to look like spring around here in the mitten. I'm still a bit under the weather that's why this is a bit late, but the other day while stopping in at @homegoods I spotted the cutest little watering can from a new line they're carrying..of course I scooped one up with no real intentions of knowing where I was going to put it..I got home & looked at our side table { vintage dresser } & it looked a bit bare & not so cozy...I got to work gathering items, dusting {eeek } & then I remembered I picked that little gem up!!! Needless to say I'm in love this this comfy little spot in our upper level living room! Come see the inspiration below with some of my favorite little treasures..

I love me some good vintage books & mini clocks! These are all free vintage finds from all over. You can see in the pictures I went back & forth with using the white tray for structure/ balance & leaving the items free standing...The tray is from @ikea.

I picked up this vintage inspired 3 tier wood planter for under $15 & it fit perfectly right here. It helped add definition & height to the space & looks nice in front of the big picture window! My very own little faux garden..my kind of garden haha!

Because I frequent HomeGoods so much { whoops.. } haha I see that they have brand - HAWS- & I'm obsessed!! I have 3 other things from this brand I want & I'll be sure to share with you all sooon..Think "vintage garden style ".

What do you think about our little garden side table decor? Let me know in the comments below. Happy & healthy weekend, friends!!!
