Happy mid week Wednesday, pals!!! It's been a crazy start with -the early fall- decor around here, but I'm feeling crazily inspired with lots of fresh fall / autumn decor ideas for you all!! I had been thinking & gathering lots of ideas & then randomly switched my mind at the last minute! I'm OBSESSED with New England fall decor that entail the lovely bright oranges, greens, reds & splashes of yellow +plaids BUT I get bored year after year of the sameee rustic fall decor...and I wanted to give you something super cozy & fresh for this season. Mark & I have taken so many cozy Saturday naps in these chairs...We grab our blankets & cozy in like two 100 year olds ha..It just smells yummy in here & these chairs are the comfiest!
As I mentioned above, I wanted to do more of a fresh & whimsical fall theme with still staying my true preferred style COTTAGE! It started with these blue mason jars I had in my storage collection! I thought they'd look pretty & incorporate that rusty whimsical french blue I wanted to add with the bright fresh greens & neutral white pumpkins!!
The fresh bright greens are so festive, yet whimsical! I love how they add that bold pop but still flow nicely with the neutral pumpkin sign, white fireplace & other greens I have splashed throughout this space!
I picked these mason jars up in Maine while vacationing a few summers ago. They were under $20 for all of them.
I kept the living room festive, yet very fresh! Minimal faux white pumpkins as you can see & of course an - apple pumpkin- candle to adds the delicious cozy fall feel.
As I'm sitting here writing this post, I can't help but feel thankful for our little brick cottage...Especially on beautiful fall night like this!! Candles going, doors open, dogs piled on the sofas & Hocus Pocus playing..
The chandelier adds that much more french cottage that I crave! New one coming in the dining room soon!
