{ Vintage Dining Room Artwork }

I'm notorious for being attached to sentimental vintage  or antique goods, especially ones from passed family members! I've had this one piece I've been wanting to use in our home for years...Yes, years!!! I like to hold onto decor that I love, or that's  just sentimental or of value & this is one of those pieces. It's not exactly my style but  I love playing with decor & I was craving a fresh simplistic change in the dining room..I rummaged my hoarding spots for a piece I've never showcased via the blog & well this mountain artwork popped up..! It was my great grandpa's { poppy } who passed in 2011 at 99. Come take a closer peek below..

The simplicity of the mountains, blue & silver cool tones & the thin vintage frame  all fit perfectly in the kitchen on the wood shelf. I ended up layering it in front of an old blue chippy farm screen & adding an antique glass  lantern!

I wanted to pull in a bit of warmth, so I added this wood crate that's the same wood tone as the shelf..brings everything together effortlessly!

I kept everything else super neutral,  so the eye goes directly to the focal point aka artwork! I did add a few vintage pottery pots with a light blue glaze on the table & some pussy willows/ eucalyptus.

I mentioned a few posts back that this space was changing & it is HOPEFULLY! Waiting on a few little  tie ups on a piece, but for now it's imperfectly perfect!

Along with this wall changing a new table is being brought into this space too..Yup, another new table pals haha. Musical tables  around these parts apparently,  but we love it! Anyways I hope you loved this new  { old } artwork & temporary dining room refresh!

Mark & I both have a 3 day weekend ahead of us, so hopefully we can spend Valentine's eating copious amounts of chocolate & redoing this space with some big new pieces! Wishing you ALL a happy & safe holiday weekend ♡.

HAPPY Monday!
