One thing that I vowed to do a little differently this year was to step outside my comfort zone in terms of decor, inspiration & content I put out! Although, in the past I never really blogged the smaller holidays, but this year & even a bit of last year I decided to show more of the smaller holidays in my decor, diy etc.... I want to appease to EVERY person who reads The Quaint Sanctuary, not just a certain style or budget! Easter ,although not a smaller holiday, it's one I never really blogged much about honestly, which is strange considering I love bunnies ha. Today I'm sharing the most fresh & simple spring window...even if it's still winter here in Michigan! Come see the full spring window below...
So the number one question I get on holiday or special occasion posts is "why do I post so early?" , short answer- I love to give you guys simple affordable ideas!!!
This idea was spur of the moment to be honest..I was in a decor store & I had a bunch of stuff, well after a long wait in the crowed line I gave up! I'll leave the store unnamed, but I ultimately left empty handed. I was bummed because the antique rabbits were adorable!!! So, on the way home I popped in Dollar Tree for quick chapstick & they had this amazing spring leaf garland for $1!!! I snagged a few & then my creative wheel started ha.
I decided the kitchen window area needed a refresh as well as our dining & living room { coming soon } so that's what I did. Simple cottage leaf garland, carrots & some cute soaps, brushes & lamp!! It screams spring / Easter without being overwhelmed until we get a bit closer!
Course I mixed some vintage treasures in like the bottle opener, cakestand & spritzer!
I hope you have a lovely Tuesday! Do you love decorate for spring after a long winter as much as I do? What's your favorite go to item??
Happy Tuesday!
As always THANK YOU for stopping in on my little growing blog. I know everyone says it, but I honestly appreciate each of you for sharing my posts, commenting etc....I'm not the biggest or most popular blogger, but I am humble, real & practical and hopefully helpful or inspiring in someway :).
