{ Spring Ivy Garland }

I've been getting a few questions about my latest obsession { ivy garland } , so I thought it was time to share a post with some photos & FAQS! I first spotted some I loved for super affordable at our local Dollar Tree...crazy right?! It was one of those last minute grabs & buy ha! For $1 though I thought what the heck.. Since then I've spotted the garland a few other places..but decidedly so I actually like the $1 stuff better!! Come gather some more information below!

I love it because it's so versatile! It's fresh, bright, simple, cozy & whimsical !! It's also very easy to drape in different spaces  for a touch of greenery!

 

The large leaves make the garland cozy cottage or even farmhouse appropriate! The brown twine adds some rustic nature appeal .

{ Lavender Spring Bedroom }

Something I've been doing a lot lately,  more than my usual OCD-ness is CLEANING!! With every spring season I tend to get the urge to purge & freshen spaces up! Since this Covid-19 outbreak it's even more important to not only clean but keeping spaces refreshed! Updating & making spaces comfy always seems to brighten my mood, so today I'm sharing our spring bedroom!! I blogged the new vintage chandy HERE.

 

I spotted this lavender pillow & well that's how this little spring bedroom refresh started! I love the pops of color, but still neutral cottage goodness! 

 

We've used this fireplace a ton this year with the bone chilling windy winter days! It's nice to cozy in & flip a switch! Our room runs cooler than the rest of our upper level, so it's a must!

 

Adding this vintage bed & breakfast chandelier gave the room depth & a more classic vintage vibe! Pretty fitting with the rustic sign above the bed that reads: Bed and Breakfast!

I bought a bundle of lavender long stems from Michael's & only paid $6!! Used some in the tobacco baskets, fireplace mantel & mini lavender pots on our nightstands! 

 

I hope y'all enjoyed this simple spring bedroom refresh...it was much needed & the color gave it a little lift!!

{ Easter Counter Vignette }

I've  said it quite a few times on here ,but I'm not one to decorate for all the holidays other than mostly Christmas! This year/ season I vowed to make that differently on TQS! I want to cater to all style, holidays, budget & home sizes! Seeing as it's already the middle of March, it's time I share an Easter display! This cute display sits on our counter in the kitchen & is just the comfiest vintage vignette yet!!  Super simple to style with goods from all over...Come see the full look below!

 

I picked these mugs up a few years ago..I love the neutral vintage vibe & they have bunnies on the...#bunnylover ! I stuck some fresh white flowers & spring green foliage in the tops & got to work..!!

 

This area of the kitchen isn't the prettiest { backs up to fridge },  so I really wanted to add some vintage character & some comfy cottage charm! Vintage scale for height, mugs for warmth/ display & lots of Easter touches...

 

I added this vintage wood honeycomb stick, eggs, chalk painted doves & this vintage metal S charm & some whimsical carrots!

 

• Those chippy wood carrots are my favorite! They add that chippy cottage factor along with the vintage cozy look!

 

I love this charming little vignette corner! It's fun, festive &a little brighter now!

{ Vintage Herb Garden Spring Mantel }

The other day my best friend & I decided to Jeep around & venture out to IKEA for a new replacement dresser for her...Well, you know IKEA trips go with me..I picked up some goodies!! You guys I hit the jackpot on comfy cottage farmhouse items! The upstairs floor sets were packed with fresh room Inspiration ..especially the laundry/ mudroom area! I picked up a bunch of items & today I'm sharing a few of them with you. I decided to refresh the upstairs living room with more my style. Although  I liked the last look, it wasn't working anymore! I wanted some more on the vintage muted spring cottage  look! Come see this spring herb mantel below......

While at IKEA with my friend I did a little spring haul! I spotted a bunch of new spring cottage goodies, one being these two Herb + Vegetable garden framed prints! They're a 2pack for $20...so cute!

 

My Inspiration for this vintage wood tote was filling it with different herbs plants but most of all this ivy garland !!!! It adds so much spring but also a whimsical flare!! 

 

Lots of boxwood,  patterned green check, galvanized, plants & rustic wood touches!! Adding in the practical items like the cottage broom set, clock etc.. add a rustic greenhouse look!

The "cottage " sign was a junking find up by my aunts in Petoskey !  I loved the chippy simplicity of it & the brown chalkpaint  I used on it!

This spring herb mantel turned out just as I had pictured..although I changed & photographed it twice! Do you decorate for spring? What's your favorite item?

{ Weekend Greenhouse Recap Video }

I don't have anything to offer you, sell you or promote, but I do have some cozy spring goodness to share with you!! Sometimes life gets hard, thing's get chaotic & you just need a day of errands & some fun mixed in!! Today { Saturday} we had a list a mile long { ahhh } but instead of complaining we did them & while coming back, I spotted the cutest hidden little greenhouse on the side of the road{ totally unexpected }! We weren't too far from home  but they're very scarce around our area, so it was such a refreshing treat! The warmth,  fresh plants & sunny, but ice cold day was so fun!!! Come see a little tour of this old chippy roadside greenhouse we found on a whim...

Little fun fact about me...I LOVE old vintage architecture on greenhouses! Like, I'm obsessed.. so when we pulled up to this old farmhouse with the vintage charm I started photographing right away ha!

I basically wanted everything in this packed vintage greenhouse! It smelled so fresh, alive & warm..A great refreshment from the sunny but frigid  air outside!

 

I almost asked if these were for sale hahah...They had the cutest most hidden treasures sprouted about the main greenhouse!

 

This was the best most busy+ productive weekend together in sometime! It's nice to have Mark along & of course behind the camera for me, helping produce content!! 

Do you have a greenhouse by you? I'm so happy I found this one on the outskirts but still close to our town!! They bring so much charm & rejuvenation from nature..oh & they're inspiring!
