{ Warm Farmhouse Fall Living Room Makeover }

 Hey my pals!! It's so weird for me to go more than a few days without blogging, but after a bunch of DIY going on & just trying to enjoy the amazing full fall weather, I decided to take a few days off! Today I'm back to share our refreshed warm living room with you all! I will be honest, we still need to caulk trim, fill nail holes & frame out the TV! I wanted to share progress & of course I had to style it a bit for fall..Cozy warm fall farmhouse if you will! Okay, just come take a peek below...before I get too dizzy typing { vertigo is no fun }.

After all the beadboard was up I knew I wanted a fresh look! Something  more authentic cottage/ farmhouse. We first gave away our IKEA Ektorp sectional & replaced it with this tan deep sofa from Crate & Barrel { we have a white blanket on it } then we positioned the wing backs & added the sofa table & whimsical warm rug! It's totally out of my norm but I actually love it!!

I kept the the decor super vintagey & quite simple..well for me haha! I picked this new basket up, gallery walled a bunch of chalkboards I collected & added some fresh pillows!

Lots of dried foliage for warmth & rustic color paired with baskets I've collected over the years! The farmhouse print is old but I love it.. Thinking about painting the frame?!

We also got a new TV { diy coming soon}  & with the beadboard I wanted to keep the mantel simple..Couple brass candlesticks, chunky almond candles & few white framed photos!!

I mentioned above I stepped out of my normal decorating style & by that I meant pairing different prints, & adding colors that aren't supposed to go hand & hand..Like tan + gray..which I love now!!!! The pops of black for bold vintage feel!

The orange & brown rustic rug was for sure a big leap in the interior design of this living room space, but honestly I love this too. I can't wait to style for Christmas!!

I hope you loved this warm authentic farmhouse vibe in here! The beadboard, collections & vintage rug help achieved that look! I guess take that leap of faith & try new looks . You might just end up finding a new style love!

HAPPY Thursday!
